Muay Thai is the striking style most commonly used in professional Mixed Martial Arts (such as UFC) style competitions. It is known as the ‘Art of 8 limbs” because it utilises punches, kicks, elbows and knees – making it the most versatile and effective striking system on the planet! Even better, it is a great workout and is no way boring. This style of training motivates people who normally hate going to the gym and gets them working out, plus it is great for self-defense.
Limitless’ Muay Thai classes cater to all students of all experience levels. From complete novices to professional fighters. You will be guided by our experienced and reputable coaches in every class, always improving on your personal ability, style and learning technique.
A TYPICAL CLASS: Class will start off with a 10-15 minute warm-up involving skipping, plyometrics and conditioning and a few rounds of shadow boxing.
Following warm-up, your coach will develop your skills with any number of training exercises including pad work, bag work, technical drills with partners and more. The content of class will vary from week to week dependent on the coaches focus; keeping the class fresh and focusing on all aspects of Muay Thai.
For some of the more experienced students, sparring is on offer. This assists you in testing your skills, where improvement is needed and to have some fun.
